EFCL Inaugural Conference, London, United Kingdom

The European Fraud and Compliance Lawyers Association (EFCL) sub-association of the ECBA has hold its inaugural conference in conjunction with the UK Fraud Lawyers Association in London on Friday June 17, 2016.

David Green QC, Director of the SFO, was the keynote speaker.  The conference also hosted a number of seminars focused on the "Cutting Edge Issues in Corporate Crime and Fraud." The seminars were presented by leading practitioners from around the world.

The Conference was held in conjunction with the Fraud Lawyers Association, open to members and non-members. 

The reception took place at OXO2 on London's Southbank. The evening included drinks and bespoke canape reception. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet representatives from 83 leading law firms, Chambers and prosecutors from 13 countries.
