Introduction
The document bearing the above reference was prepared for the UNRC and was prepared for the 21st Human Rights Council Session by way of a Universal Periodic Review on Turkey and was discussed in Geneva on 27 January 2015. Immediately after the official discussion in the HRC, a side meeting was held in the UN Building, the Palais des Nations, where representatives of various sectors of Turkish life testified as to persistent human rights violations by Turkey.
