The subject of my speech is that there is a link between legal aid on the one side and procedural safeguards in crossborder cases on the other side.
In order to demonstrate the relation between the two components I first will analyze the concept of legal aid, then the concept of procedural safeguards in crossborder cases and finally link them together not only in a theoretical but also a practical way.
